The Vegvisir is known as the Icelandic compass, “That Which Shows the Way.” It's a beautiful design that I saw everywhere during my trip to Iceland, so I was anxious to research its origins. I penned this illustration of it after checking multiple sources with slightly different variants of the design. Some configurations are square, but I prefer the circular ones. I composed an amalgamation of the most agreed-upon "correct" versions of each symbol (don't trust the one that pops up first on Wikipedia or a google search!), and this is the result. Enjoy!
