For CAT collars, we use a round metal split ring + bell (removable)
For DOG collars, we use a metal D ring (no bell unless requested)

-This collar style is 1/2″ wide, with a fully adjustable length.

BUCKLE CLASP OPTIONS

► Choose the type of buckle clasp you need from the menu (both versions will look like the one shown in the main collar photo):

1) Breakaway / Safety Buckle Clasp — typical for cats
2) NON-Breakaway Buckle Clasp — typical for dogs (esp. if used with a leash)

***Breakaway safety buckles are primarily for cats and are designed to pop open if tugged on with a certain amount of force, to ensure an emergency ‘getaway’ if your pet is caught on something. NON-breakaway buckles DO NOT pop open with pressure. They are intended to stay closed unless the owner wishes to manually release it like any normal side-release closure.

***Note: If you prefer a different buckle color (we offer either white or black — you may request the version you want in the order notes box located on the cart page, before checkout and we will be happy to accommodate the substitution).
